libedac software package provides virtual package provided by libedac1-dbg, libedac1, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libedac
libedac is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libedac package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libedac*
You will get with libedac package name, version, architecture and description in a table
