How to uninstall or remove libdune-grid-glue-dbg software package from Debian 8 (Jessie)

You can uninstall or removes an installed libdune-grid-glue-dbg package itself from Debian 8 (Jessie) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove libdune-grid-glue-dbg

Uninstall libdune-grid-glue-dbg including dependent package

If you would like to remove libdune-grid-glue-dbg and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libdune-grid-glue-dbg

Use Purging libdune-grid-glue-dbg

If you use with purge options to libdune-grid-glue-dbg package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge libdune-grid-glue-dbg

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libdune-grid-glue-dbg
