libdpkg-ruby software package provides virtual package provided by ruby-debian, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libdpkg-ruby
libdpkg-ruby is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libdpkg-ruby package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libdpkg-ruby*
You will get with libdpkg-ruby package name, version, architecture and description in a table
