libdist-zilla-plugin-localemsg software package provides Dist::Zilla plugin to compile PO files with Locale::Msgfmt, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libdist-zilla-plugin-localemsg
libdist-zilla-plugin-localemsg is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libdist-zilla-plugin-localemsg package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libdist-zilla-plugin-localemsg*
You will get with libdist-zilla-plugin-localemsg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
