libdist-zilla-plugin-githubmet software package provides Automatically include GitHub meta information in META.yml, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libdist-zilla-plugin-githubmet
libdist-zilla-plugin-githubmet is installed in your system.
