How to uninstall or remove libdirectory-scratch-structure software package from Debian 8 (Jessie)

You can uninstall or removes an installed libdirectory-scratch-structure package itself from Debian 8 (Jessie) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove libdirectory-scratch-structure

Uninstall libdirectory-scratch-structure including dependent package

If you would like to remove libdirectory-scratch-structure and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libdirectory-scratch-structure

Use Purging libdirectory-scratch-structure

If you use with purge options to libdirectory-scratch-structure package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge libdirectory-scratch-structure

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libdirectory-scratch-structure
