How to uninstall or remove libdessert0.87 software package from Debian 8 (Jessie)

You can uninstall or removes an installed libdessert0.87 package itself from Debian 8 (Jessie) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove libdessert0.87 

Uninstall libdessert0.87 including dependent package

If you would like to remove libdessert0.87 and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libdessert0.87 
Use Purging libdessert0.87

If you use with purge options to libdessert0.87 package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge libdessert0.87 

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libdessert0.87
