libdatetime-format-strptime-pe software package provides Perl module to parse and format strp and strf time patterns, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libdatetime-format-strptime-pe
libdatetime-format-strptime-pe is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libdatetime-format-strptime-pe package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libdatetime-format-strptime-pe*
You will get with libdatetime-format-strptime-pe package name, version, architecture and description in a table
