libcvs-perl software package provides object oriented Perl interface to the CVS command, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libcvs-perl
libcvs-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libcvs-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libcvs-perl *
You will get with libcvs-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
