How to uninstall or remove libcupt3-0-downloadmethod-wget software package from Debian 8 (Jessie)

You can uninstall or removes an installed libcupt3-0-downloadmethod-wget package itself from Debian 8 (Jessie) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove libcupt3-0-downloadmethod-wget

Uninstall libcupt3-0-downloadmethod-wget including dependent package

If you would like to remove libcupt3-0-downloadmethod-wget and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libcupt3-0-downloadmethod-wget

Use Purging libcupt3-0-downloadmethod-wget

If you use with purge options to libcupt3-0-downloadmethod-wget package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge libcupt3-0-downloadmethod-wget

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libcupt3-0-downloadmethod-wget
