How to uninstall or remove libctapimkt1 software package from Debian 8 (Jessie)

You can uninstall or removes an installed libctapimkt1 package itself from Debian 8 (Jessie) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove libctapimkt1 

Uninstall libctapimkt1 including dependent package

If you would like to remove libctapimkt1 and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libctapimkt1 
Use Purging libctapimkt1

If you use with purge options to libctapimkt1 package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge libctapimkt1 

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libctapimkt1
