libcolorhug-dev software package provides library to access the ColorHug colourimeter -- development files, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libcolorhug-dev
libcolorhug-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libcolorhug-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libcolorhug-dev *
You will get with libcolorhug-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
