libclamav-client-perl software package provides Perl client for the ClamAV virus scanner daemon, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libclamav-client-perl
libclamav-client-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libclamav-client-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libclamav-client-perl *
You will get with libclamav-client-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
