libcgi-compress-gzip-perl software package provides module to allow automatically compressed CGI output, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libcgi-compress-gzip-perl
libcgi-compress-gzip-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libcgi-compress-gzip-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libcgi-compress-gzip-perl *
You will get with libcgi-compress-gzip-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
