libc-pic software package provides virtual package provided by libc6-pic, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libc-pic
libc-pic is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libc-pic package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libc-pic*
You will get with libc-pic package name, version, architecture and description in a table
