libblacs-openmpi1 software package provides Basic Linear Algebra Comm. Subprograms - Shared libs. for OpenMPI, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libblacs-openmpi1
libblacs-openmpi1 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libblacs-openmpi1 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libblacs-openmpi1 *
You will get with libblacs-openmpi1 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
