How to uninstall or remove libbenchmark-ocaml-dev-lggy5 software package from Debian 8 (Jessie)

You can uninstall or removes an installed libbenchmark-ocaml-dev-lggy5 package itself from Debian 8 (Jessie) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove libbenchmark-ocaml-dev-lggy5

Uninstall libbenchmark-ocaml-dev-lggy5 including dependent package

If you would like to remove libbenchmark-ocaml-dev-lggy5 and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libbenchmark-ocaml-dev-lggy5

Use Purging libbenchmark-ocaml-dev-lggy5

If you use with purge options to libbenchmark-ocaml-dev-lggy5 package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge libbenchmark-ocaml-dev-lggy5

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libbenchmark-ocaml-dev-lggy5
