How to uninstall or remove libbatteries-ocaml-dev-f8q39 software package from Debian 8 (Jessie)

You can uninstall or removes an installed libbatteries-ocaml-dev-f8q39 package itself from Debian 8 (Jessie) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove libbatteries-ocaml-dev-f8q39

Uninstall libbatteries-ocaml-dev-f8q39 including dependent package

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libbatteries-ocaml-dev-f8q39

Use Purging libbatteries-ocaml-dev-f8q39

If you use with purge options to libbatteries-ocaml-dev-f8q39 package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge libbatteries-ocaml-dev-f8q39

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libbatteries-ocaml-dev-f8q39
