libbabeltrace-ctf-dev software package provides Common Trace Format (CTF) development files, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libbabeltrace-ctf-dev
libbabeltrace-ctf-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libbabeltrace-ctf-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libbabeltrace-ctf-dev *
You will get with libbabeltrace-ctf-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
