libavc1394-tools software package provides control IEEE 1394 audio/video devices (utilities), you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libavc1394-tools
libavc1394-tools is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libavc1394-tools package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libavc1394-tools *
You will get with libavc1394-tools package name, version, architecture and description in a table
