libarchive-any-perl software package provides Perl module to deal with file archives in any format, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libarchive-any-perl
libarchive-any-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libarchive-any-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libarchive-any-perl *
You will get with libarchive-any-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
