How to uninstall or remove libaqbanking-backend software package from Debian 8 (Jessie)

You can uninstall or removes an installed libaqbanking-backend package itself from Debian 8 (Jessie) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove libaqbanking-backend

Uninstall libaqbanking-backend including dependent package

If you would like to remove libaqbanking-backend and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libaqbanking-backend

Use Purging libaqbanking-backend

If you use with purge options to libaqbanking-backend package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge libaqbanking-backend

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libaqbanking-backend
