libalgorithm-diff-xs-perl software package provides module to find differences between files (XS accelerated), you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libalgorithm-diff-xs-perl
libalgorithm-diff-xs-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libalgorithm-diff-xs-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libalgorithm-diff-xs-perl *
You will get with libalgorithm-diff-xs-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
