How to uninstall or remove ldap-client software package from Debian 8 (Jessie)

You can uninstall or removes an installed ldap-client package itself from Debian 8 (Jessie) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove ldap-client

Uninstall ldap-client including dependent package

If you would like to remove ldap-client and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ldap-client
Use Purging ldap-client

If you use with purge options to ldap-client package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge ldap-client

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ldap-client
