How to Install l2tpd software package in Debian 8 (Jessie)

l2tpd software package provides virtual package provided by xl2tpd, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install l2tpd

l2tpd is installed in your system.

Make ensure the l2tpd package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep l2tpd*

You will get with l2tpd package name, version, architecture and description in a table
