How to uninstall or remove ksplash-theme-aperture software package from Debian 8 (Jessie)

You can uninstall or removes an installed ksplash-theme-aperture package itself from Debian 8 (Jessie) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove ksplash-theme-aperture

Uninstall ksplash-theme-aperture including dependent package

If you would like to remove ksplash-theme-aperture and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ksplash-theme-aperture

Use Purging ksplash-theme-aperture

If you use with purge options to ksplash-theme-aperture package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge ksplash-theme-aperture

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ksplash-theme-aperture
