How to Install kio-ftps software package in Debian 8 (Jessie)

kio-ftps software package provides an ftps KIO slave for KDE 4, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install kio-ftps

kio-ftps is installed in your system.

Make ensure the kio-ftps package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep kio-ftps *

You will get with kio-ftps package name, version, architecture and description in a table
