keylaunch software package provides A small utility for binding commands to a hot key, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install keylaunch
keylaunch is installed in your system.
Make ensure the keylaunch package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep keylaunch *
You will get with keylaunch package name, version, architecture and description in a table
