How to uninstall or remove kdevplatform8-libs software package from Debian 8 (Jessie)

You can uninstall or removes an installed kdevplatform8-libs package itself from Debian 8 (Jessie) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove kdevplatform8-libs

Uninstall kdevplatform8-libs including dependent package

If you would like to remove kdevplatform8-libs and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove kdevplatform8-libs

Use Purging kdevplatform8-libs

If you use with purge options to kdevplatform8-libs package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge kdevplatform8-libs

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove kdevplatform8-libs
