How to uninstall or remove kde-standard software package from Debian 8 (Jessie)

You can uninstall or removes an installed kde-standard package itself from Debian 8 (Jessie) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove kde-standard 

Uninstall kde-standard including dependent package

If you would like to remove kde-standard and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove kde-standard 
Use Purging kde-standard

If you use with purge options to kde-standard package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge kde-standard 

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove kde-standard
