kde-plasma-desktop software package provides KDE Plasma Desktop and minimal set of applications, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install kde-plasma-desktop
kde-plasma-desktop is installed in your system.
Make ensure the kde-plasma-desktop package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep kde-plasma-desktop *
You will get with kde-plasma-desktop package name, version, architecture and description in a table
