json-glib-tools software package provides GLib JSON manipulation library (tools), you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install json-glib-tools
json-glib-tools is installed in your system.
Make ensure the json-glib-tools package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep json-glib-tools *
You will get with json-glib-tools package name, version, architecture and description in a table
