jackd-firewire software package provides virtual package provided by jackd1-firewire, jackd2-firewire, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install jackd-firewire
jackd-firewire is installed in your system.
Make ensure the jackd-firewire package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep jackd-firewire*
You will get with jackd-firewire package name, version, architecture and description in a table
