jack-daemon software package provides virtual package provided by jackd2, jackd1, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install jack-daemon
jack-daemon is installed in your system.
Make ensure the jack-daemon package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep jack-daemon*
You will get with jack-daemon package name, version, architecture and description in a table
