ispell-dictionary software package provides virtual package provided by idanish, ibritish-large, iportuguese, ispanish, iirish, imanx, ifrench, ifrench-gut, itagalog, ingerman, iamerican-small, igalician-minimos, iamerican-insane, ibritish-huge, iestonian, ibulgarian, irussian, iczech, iamerican, icatalan, iukrainian, iamerican-huge, idutch, iesperanto, iogerman, iamerican-large, ibritish, ifaroese, ipolish, iswedish, ibrazilian, inorwegian, iswiss, ilithuanian, ihungarian, iitalian, ibritish-insane, igaelic, ibritish-small, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install ispell-dictionary
ispell-dictionary is installed in your system.
Make ensure the ispell-dictionary package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ispell-dictionary*
You will get with ispell-dictionary package name, version, architecture and description in a table
