How to uninstall or remove isofs-modules-3.16.0-4-amd64-d software package from Debian 8 (Jessie)

You can uninstall or removes an installed isofs-modules-3.16.0-4-amd64-d package itself from Debian 8 (Jessie) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove isofs-modules-3.16.0-4-amd64-d

Uninstall isofs-modules-3.16.0-4-amd64-d including dependent package

If you would like to remove isofs-modules-3.16.0-4-amd64-d and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove isofs-modules-3.16.0-4-amd64-d

Use Purging isofs-modules-3.16.0-4-amd64-d

If you use with purge options to isofs-modules-3.16.0-4-amd64-d package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge isofs-modules-3.16.0-4-amd64-d

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove isofs-modules-3.16.0-4-amd64-d
