iso-codes software package provides 3.57-1, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install iso-codes
iso-codes is installed in your system.
Make ensure the iso-codes package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep iso-codes *
You will get with iso-codes package name, version, architecture and description in a table
