info-browser software package provides virtual package provided by jed-extra, emacs24-nox, konqueror, info, xemacs21-mule-canna-wnn, xemacs21-mule, pinfo, xemacs21-nomule, xjed, tkinfo, emacs24-lucid, emacs24, jed, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install info-browser
info-browser is installed in your system.
Make ensure the info-browser package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep info-browser*
You will get with info-browser package name, version, architecture and description in a table
