How to Install imap-client software package in Debian 8 (Jessie)

imap-client software package provides virtual package provided by tkrat, im, wl, wl-beta, mew, claws-mail, mew-beta, mutt, balsa, kmail, heirloom-mailx, evolution, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install imap-client

imap-client is installed in your system.

Make ensure the imap-client package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep imap-client*

You will get with imap-client package name, version, architecture and description in a table
