$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install ifeffit 

ifeffit is installed in your system.

Make ensure the ifeffit package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ifeffit *

You will get with ifeffit package name, version, architecture and description in a table

ifeffit package basic information:
