idba software package provides iterative De Bruijn Graph De Novo short read assembler for transcriptome, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install idba
idba is installed in your system.
Make ensure the idba package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep idba *
You will get with idba package name, version, architecture and description in a table
