How to uninstall or remove icinga-idoutils software package from Debian 8 (Jessie)

You can uninstall or removes an installed icinga-idoutils package itself from Debian 8 (Jessie) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove icinga-idoutils 

Uninstall icinga-idoutils including dependent package

If you would like to remove icinga-idoutils and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove icinga-idoutils 
Use Purging icinga-idoutils

If you use with purge options to icinga-idoutils package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge icinga-idoutils 

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove icinga-idoutils
