iceweasel-firebug software package provides virtual package provided by xul-ext-firebug, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install iceweasel-firebug
iceweasel-firebug is installed in your system.
Make ensure the iceweasel-firebug package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep iceweasel-firebug*
You will get with iceweasel-firebug package name, version, architecture and description in a table
