How to uninstall or remove iceweasel-adblock-plus-element software package from Debian 8 (Jessie)

You can uninstall or removes an installed iceweasel-adblock-plus-element package itself from Debian 8 (Jessie) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove iceweasel-adblock-plus-element

Uninstall iceweasel-adblock-plus-element including dependent package

If you would like to remove iceweasel-adblock-plus-element and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove iceweasel-adblock-plus-element

Use Purging iceweasel-adblock-plus-element

If you use with purge options to iceweasel-adblock-plus-element package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge iceweasel-adblock-plus-element

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove iceweasel-adblock-plus-element
