How to uninstall or remove icedove-toggle-proxy software package from Debian 8 (Jessie)

You can uninstall or removes an installed icedove-toggle-proxy package itself from Debian 8 (Jessie) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove icedove-toggle-proxy

Uninstall icedove-toggle-proxy including dependent package

If you would like to remove icedove-toggle-proxy and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove icedove-toggle-proxy

Use Purging icedove-toggle-proxy

If you use with purge options to icedove-toggle-proxy package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge icedove-toggle-proxy

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove icedove-toggle-proxy
