icedove-enigmail software package provides virtual package provided by enigmail, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install icedove-enigmail
icedove-enigmail is installed in your system.
Make ensure the icedove-enigmail package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep icedove-enigmail*
You will get with icedove-enigmail package name, version, architecture and description in a table
