icedove software package provides mail/news client with RSS and integrated spam filter support, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install icedove
icedove is installed in your system.
Make ensure the icedove package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep icedove *
You will get with icedove package name, version, architecture and description in a table
