How to uninstall or remove iceape-password-editor software package from Debian 8 (Jessie)

You can uninstall or removes an installed iceape-password-editor package itself from Debian 8 (Jessie) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove iceape-password-editor

Uninstall iceape-password-editor including dependent package

If you would like to remove iceape-password-editor and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove iceape-password-editor

Use Purging iceape-password-editor

If you use with purge options to iceape-password-editor package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge iceape-password-editor

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove iceape-password-editor
