hunspell-dictionary-fr software package provides virtual package provided by hunspell-fr-modern, hunspell-fr-comprehensive, hunspell-fr-revised, hunspell-fr-classical, myspell-fr, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install hunspell-dictionary-fr
hunspell-dictionary-fr is installed in your system.
Make ensure the hunspell-dictionary-fr package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep hunspell-dictionary-fr*
You will get with hunspell-dictionary-fr package name, version, architecture and description in a table
