How to uninstall or remove hunspell-dictionary-de software package from Debian 8 (Jessie)

You can uninstall or removes an installed hunspell-dictionary-de package itself from Debian 8 (Jessie) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove hunspell-dictionary-de

Uninstall hunspell-dictionary-de including dependent package

If you would like to remove hunspell-dictionary-de and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove hunspell-dictionary-de

Use Purging hunspell-dictionary-de

If you use with purge options to hunspell-dictionary-de package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge hunspell-dictionary-de

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove hunspell-dictionary-de
